So I watched this and it really made me think about Christianity and whether or not this is the right thing for the Church to do. On one hand, its a great way to get people to come to church and be witnessed to about Christ, especially on easter because that is always a very important Biblical message. On the other hand, what is this saying about our religion? Is it really showing that Christians are so desperate that they need to drag people in with prizes? There are better ways to get the message across. To me, this seems slightly like bribery. I could be wrong, but there are many different ways to look at this. As you read this, don't think differently about my opinion based off of my age, but think of it as if you are in sync with God. Judge my opinion as He would.
Great comment Grace! I think lots of people are going to identify with the tension you are feeling. Well said! I especially appreciate your comment about what this says about the state of Christianity in America that we need to offer people prizes to get them to church. Very insightful, interesting, intriguing!
