Family Fun @ The San Diego Zoo
Today we had a lot of fun as a family visiting the San Diego Zoo! Their most famous attraction is their Giant Panda exhibit which all of us thoroughly enjoyed. Seeing these endangered creatures was a great treat! Claudia really liked the reptile exhibit and was thinking about Pappy. Perhaps the most scarry moment of the day came when we were leaving the park and the zoo people accused us of stealing a monkey. After showing them some identification and giving some DNA samples they finally realized Natalia was indeed my daughter and let her go home with us. lol! Before driving back to Orange County we stopped by La Jolla which is just north of San Diego, and visited the La Jolla cove which is where about 200 sea lions come ashore to rest for the night. We always love going there in the late afternoon. I’ll post pics of that tomorrow.
Arrived in Cali Safely
Well, it’s 3:27 am according to my body’s clock, but it’s only 12:37 am California time. The girls just fell asleep in our hotel room. We had a very good trip here and are looking forward to a great week together!
Plane Landing on Hudson Animation with Audio
I know I am flying tomorrow, but I thought this was really incredible. It’s a computer animation of the plane landing on the Hudson complete with audio. Check it out!
Family Fun & A Great Opportunity for Influence
This evening I had so much fun with my daughters. Adriana is in Queens with our worship team which is going to participate in the mass choir for Battle Cry next month. The girls and I ate ice cream and watched some more old family videos. We then had a time of talking and sharing with one another followed by some tickle time and an intense game of hide-n-seek. Yours truly is the master! They even called my cell phone when they couldn’t find me after several minutes. lol

People need to see that, far from being an obstacle, the world’s diversity of languages, religions and traditions is a great treasure, affording us precious opportunities to recognize ourselves in others. — Youssou N’Dour, Musician.
A Trip Down Memory Lane
So last night and this evening we pulled out some 8mm videos and took a trip down memory lane. We watched videos from the girls were just babies, my oldest daughter’s first day of school, my youngest daughter’s first time eating solid foods. We spent hours with nothing but smiles on our faces and laughter in the air. It was fantastic family fun!
