Very intriguing video. I was reminded of my great-grandmother who had Alzheimer’s. She couldn’t remember much at the end of her life, but she remembered her children’s names and words to hymns from her childhood. I love the line in this video: “The music animates him.” The power of music restores him to a sense of his identity.
This raises an interesting set of questions for me:
What is the music that animates my life? What is the music that animates your life? Am I living my life as a dance to the rhythms of God’s grace and purposes?
One of the neat little touches that we offered at our Southwest Easter service this past weekend was family pictures. We had people roaming around before and after services offering families an opportunity to have their picture taken – you know, like they do at stadiums and theme parks – and they were given a card to download their picture for free from our website. Here’s our family picture.
He is Risen! Happy Easter! Here’s one of my heros in the faith Keith Green performing the Easter Song live at The Daisy Club in LA just prior to his tragic death in a plane crash in 1982.
Our family has been inviting some people from our community to church for a few months now, and this past Sunday one lady came along with her cousin. She said she loved it and will be coming back! Who can you invite to church this weekend?
