I love these videos! Found them back when they first came out, and just thought of them today and hunted them down. Unfortunately there has been some editing, but they’re still hilarious! They were created by vintage21 and are not intended to mock Jesus, but rather launch discussion about misconceptions about Jesus – that he was/is weak, boring, disconnected, irrelevant.

The couple we did yard work for today board horses for the horse farm next door to them, so the girls were able to go for a horse ride with the couple’s granddaughter, one of their friends from church.

Today our Costa Rica team did yard work for a senior couple in our church as a service project. It was a lot of fun, we did a lot of work in just four hours that would have taken them days to do (or a lot of money to hire someone to do), and in addition to a great lunch and ice cream, they also made a donation to help us with our trip! What a great day!

As part of our Fill the Tub program for the months of February and March we collected personal items for migrant workers in conjunction with the racetrack chaplaincy of America, a ministry that cares for migrant workers that work on horse farms. On Wednesday, April 29th Planet Impact staff member Kerry Mannix and four girls from our youth ministry delivered the items to Belmont and had the privilege to seeing the smiles on the faces of the recipients as they benefited from our giving.

I’ve been wanting to get back into painting lately, and being computer-less for a week-and-a-half allowed me to do just that. I painted five rocks in the last few days. Here they are for your viewing pleasure …
